Hell of a deal on the Telltale games. Already scooped up Borderlands and Game of Thrones for 50%ish during the last Steam sale sadly, but that’s definitely a great price.
Apparently it was such a good deal that they have now run out of Steam keys for Game of Thrones and Borderlands, even for customers who have already paid. They say they are getting more keys from Telltale, but no ETA. Still a good deal and I have no doubt Humble will honor every sale, but just something to keep in mind if you were in a hurry to play either game this weekend.

Injustice is tempting but I dont usually do fighting games like that.
It’s a REALLY good fighting game, if that matters. Tons of fun.

I tried it because it looked cool and I was a complete failure at it.
Did you use a gamepad, preferably a xbox controller? That can make a huge difference.
Same here. It was free on PS+ on PS4, so I gave it a try, and just couldn’t get past one of the tutorials trying to teach me a move. That’s when you know you’ve been humbled. When you can’t even get through the tutorial. The same thing happened to me during the Metal Gear Revengeance demo and the Tribes 2 tutorial on Hard.
Rejected! No soup for you.
I was never a fighting game guy myself, probably because I was already in college during the first console generation. The Batman games are more my speed.

I could not even make it through the basic first part of the tutorial. After trying and failing to block 5 straight punches for about 15 minutes I gave up and returned my first Steam game.

Yes, XBox 360 controller. I just really suck at it. I did make it through the tutorial - but some of them took a while.
Humble’s end of the summer sale continues. Today:
Make your own bundle of Devolver games – including Titan Souls, RONIN, Gods will be Watching, etc, etc
This War of Mine
Legend of Grimrock II
Invisible, Inc.
Towerfall
Spintires
…plenty of other stuff
These build-a-bundles are amusing. There’s a tradeoff between adding some cheap game to lower the overall price, and my OCD desire not to fill up my library with random crap.

I’m conflicted by that build a bundle. Could scoop up 5 games, a few of which I’m mildly interested in, for $5. Or I could just wait and assume that since it’s Devolver they’ll end up in humble bundles anyway, possibly with other games.
You wouldn’t think you’d have to consider 5 games for $5 but when they hit just the right amount of “I’m pretty sure I won’t like this, but that’s a little bit novel, but I could probably get it later for as cheap or cheaper anyway” my brain locks up.
Bioshock Infinite is this year’s Golden Joystick game.
After voting you can buy it for 1$ on Green Man Gaming.

They’re also offering the dollar back in store credit after playing.
Injustice: I also had a hard time passing the blocking test in the tutorial, and I play a lot of fighting games. Can you just skip the tutorial and just play the game on easy? I would suggest doing this to get started.
