Actually, you may not even need to use VPN. Nuuvem seems to now actually block the “buy” button if you’re trying to buy a region-locked game with a US IP. For instance, if you search for Injustice: Gods Among Us or a bunch of other Warner Brothers games, they show up as unavailable. With Dying Light, it shows as available to buy, so I think this should work for US customers even without using VPN.

That is true for many games. However when I proceeded to checkout with Dying Light the site said the title is unavailable in my region (U.S). Other regions might be able to purchase without VPN, but I needed to use one for this title.

I didn’t need to use a VPN for Mad Max or Metal Gear Solid V however.

It stops you at checkout without a VPN. I wasn’t going to actually buy it because I just bought it from GreenManGaming today, along with the season pass. It’s on sale and you can use the extra voucher.Total was $46.35 for both. I decided to use my birthday money from a month ago!

Endless Legend Emperor Edition for $11 on Nuuvem. Doesn’t look like any VPN hijinks are necessary here.

Guys, found this deal via GWJ. Gamestops are selling their loose DS games for a song. I went to one, and while there was a ton of shovelware, there were a few gems. I got Zoo Tycoon 2 for $1 and Golden Sun for $10, and they had Anno 1701 and Age of Kings real cheap, so it might be worth a look see.

Currently at Best Buy, Dragon Age Inquisition is $30 and Witcher 3 is $40. Witcher 3 is also $40 on Amazon now. Download version is GOG, not Steam.

Pillars of Eternity going for £6.29. Registers on Steam.

G2A has the expansion pass for Pillars of eternity for $8.68 too. I’m tempted to pick it up even though i won’t be playing it any time soon due to other stuff.

Anyone have any issues with that site? Just sort of hesitant to do business with shady deal sites, but not really familiar with many beyond GMG that are outside the usual steam/gog/gamersgate types.

Now reports as being on ‘back order’. :(

I know some people pre-ordered mad max from it. I pre-ordered from GreenmanGaming. They got their key before me. We both got before release though.

Humble store has it for the same price.

Thanks. I’m in no hurry to play it, but I think it would be a good game to dig into later and that’s a good enough price to entice me.

Becoming: I bought Mad Max there with no problems (so far).

Picked it up last night. Was expecting a delay before the download code was forwarded to me but it arrived immediately after an SMS text verification and worked like a charm, no problems.

Also worth mentioning from the Steam weeklongs is that Caves of Qud drops to $8.99.

Retro-futuristic science fantasy roguelike (think Gamma World) by the makers of Sproggiwood.

-Todd

They were working on the original, free iteration of Caves of Qud long before Sproggiwood, but yes, same people.
