The Titanfall 2 campaign is phenomenal.
I am really hoping that the Frontier Defense horde mode makes a return to this installment at some point.

Damn, Amazon sold out at $30 already for PS4.
Humble Store Birthday Sale is in full swing. Today’s additions included:
Build Your Own Double Fine Bundle with discounts of 85% on 3 games, 87% on 4 games and a whopping 90% on 5 games. This leads to ridiculous bargains such as Massive Chalice, Broken Age, SpaceBase DF9, Costume Quest and Grim Fandango Remastered all together for $7.99.
Also live is a Build Your Own THQ Nordic Bundle. Nearly 100 games and DLC are part of the offer, and discounts are 80% on 3 games, 83% on 4, 85% on 5 games. Some pretty sweet deals to be made bundling games from the Red Faction, Shadowrun Chronicles, Gothic, SupCom, Guild and Spellforce franchises plus a ton of other titles.
I forgot to post during the first week, but Sony is running a 10th Anniversary Sale for the PS Store. They’ve had some great deals, especially for Plus members.
Last week I got Grandia (PS1), Grandia III (PS2), Gradius V (PS2) and Legend of Dragoon (PS1) for $10 total. This week, I’ve already got Mega Man Legends 1 & 2, Parasite Eve, Tomba and Tomba 2, Persona 2 and Vagrant Story in my cart for $14. If you missed the PlayStation era, or even the PS2 era, this is a great way to catch up.
There are a lot of excellent deals on more current games too. Gravity Rush $15, God of War III Remastered for $8. Resogun, Sly Cooper Remastered, etc. The deals are spread across PS3, PS4, PSP and Vita. Two more weeks after this one, too.
Amazon currently has Titanfall 2 for XB1 and PS4 for $30. But XB1 Black Friday sale starts this Friday, and the Sony sales have had some good stuff so far, so we’ll see.

How are the Worms games, on sale at Steam now? I’ve never played any of them.

I played an unhealthy amount of Worms Armageddon in college. It is one of the best hotseat multiplater games.
For single player? Don’t bother. The challenges and maps can be fun, but it is really all about blowing your friends off the map.

It would be for single player only, so maybe I’ll pass.
I have 3 brothers, these games at Xmas were probably the most fun I’ve ever had gaming. If you have a regular crew you can multiplay these with…it’s just awesome.
Yer all DEEUUOOOOMMMMED!!
Action Ball 2 is available for a buck on Gamersgate.

Gasp. That’s the same day that the new show by the Top Gear hosts airs on Amazon Prime. They sure know how to tempt me.

Any word yet on when the Steam Turkey Day sale starts?

Last year I think I bought more at the Turkey day sale than the Xmas sale. The deals really didn’t improve on the games I passed on, and I don’t think they got better for the ones I bought. Just don’t ask me if I’ve played them yet…
Looks like in 2015 they started the day after Thanksgiving. Too bad it’s not earlier. I’m ready to buy some games.

Thanksgiving steam sale usually sucks, don’t get your hopes up.

Last year the discount percentages were the same as the winter sale. Which doesn’t mean the Thanksgiving sale was good, mind.
I saw this in a post on the GT forums:
According to a leaked screenshot, the Steam Autumn Sale will start on November 23 at 9:50am PT and end on November 29 at 10:10am PT, covering your Thanksgiving and Black Friday needs.
The Steam Winter Sale will begin on December 22 at 9:50am PT and end on January 2, 2017, at 10:10am PT. Happy holidays, I guess.
