Anno 2205 performance on my aging rig may turn out to be not so great. Coupled with what I’ve read about it not being as good at 2070, I decided to hold off on it and see if it drops further next month.
2205 is alright , the DLC adds some stuff that makes it feel like a more complete game. Overall I’d wait for the ultimate edition to hit $25.
2070 and 1404 are still far better games.
Get DOOM for around $17 if you buy from GreenManGaming today and use the BLACKFRIDAY10 code to get an additional 10% off the $18.99 sale price. The Season Pass is $20.50 after code.
Grab Fallout 4 for the same $17 price using the code. And the Fallout 4 Season Pass is only $25.70 with code.
Free mystery game with every purchase as well.

Yeah, sadly it didn’t sell well, and LucasArts soon killed all non-Star-Wars projects on their way to oblivion. But good PS2 and GameCube emulators have in fact materialized on PC, so it’s not out of reach forever.
Sadly time is limited, and TRPGs are only one of many genres that I enjoy, so some (most) games fall through the cracks. Other TRPG series I also couldn’t tell you anything either way about include Growlanser, Front Mission, and Super Robot Wars.
The only NIS game I’ve played extensively is La Pucelle, which was good but not amazing. As for Disgaea, my impression was that it took my least favorite part of FFT (grind-encouraging focus on byzantine character development structure instead of interesting on-field tactical decisions) and cranked it up to 11. But I could be wrong.

Why is Cults & Daggers never on sale?
I am tempted by:
- Total War: Atilla for $9
- Just Cause 3 for $15
- Subnautica for $12
Unfortunately what I really wanted for a discount on RimWorld.

I believe that the developer has said in the past there will not be any discounts on RimWorld until after it launches. I could be mistaken but I recall something like that from their forums.
He’s said this multiple times, yes.
Couple of other nice deals I’ve seen today:
Endless Legend : Emperor Edition is $9.99 on IndieGala.com. That’s the lowest price yet for the Emperor Edition and a great price point for anyone curious about this excellent game.
Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition : Complete Saga is $14.41 on BundleStars.com when you use coupon code BLACKFRIDAY11 to get 11% off. That’s less than $5 per game for BG:EE, BG2:EE and BG:Siege of Dragonspear.
Warhammer : End Times - Vermintide is $12.86 at BundleStars.com when you use code BLACKFRIDAY10.
Also at GreenManGaming after 10% code (all are lower than Steam Sale prices):
Sorcerer King is $8.09
Offworld Trading Company is $11.06
Galactic Civilizations III is $11.06
Ashes of the Singularity is $16.19
That is a fantastic price for Offworld Trading Company, which will be in my TOP10 list this year. :D

I am playing that right now. It is a beautiful game. I wish it had more of a tutorial. I almost died of dehydration on this ocean world until I discovered a recipe buried deep on the build menu. I was also looking for magnesium until again, I realised it was crafted from something else.
Check gmg for endless legend if you’re shopping. I think I saw something at $6.79, can’t remember if it was emperor or not tho

Dude, you’re not the only one. I had a Color Computer II growing up and while I dabbled in BASIC I never got very far with it. I think programming is one of those things you’re either wired for or not.
I picked up Shenzhen I/O (my first Zachtronics game) during a past Steam sale but I didn’t mess with it until recently. I had to search YouTube to figure this thing out and by the time I got to the second puzzle it became obvious that if you don’t have a background in programming you’re pretty much screwed. Lesson learned… Do not buy Zachronics games unless you’re a smarty pants like Scott Manley.
I’m starting to hyperventilate at the thought of not getting OPTIMUM PRICING. I need to step away…

Then you would miss great games like Infinifactory!
TIS-100 is pretty difficult, even for those interested in programming. It forces you to solve puzzles using a very restricted instruction set, ones that are trivial in any modern programming language. Then it tosses in a healthy dose of concurrency and deadlock issues just for good measure.
When you finally do solve a puzzle it laughs at your solution by showing you a graph of just how much better everyone else is. So if you want to you hold on to any self respect you are forced to go back and optimize until you feel less stupid.

I watched a video of Scott Manley solving the first TIS puzzle, and it kind of clicked for me, to the point that with the help of the manual I was able to solve a couple on my own. It was tough, but I felt better about myself once I did it.

I think blowing shit up in Just Cause 3 is more my speed. :-) I have to think hard enough at my job (and while watching Westworld!).
