Ain’t that the truth! Yeesh!

I am tempted by warlock 2, since there is a huge mod scene, and one of them added several new nations.

Thinking about picking up Infested Planet after the recent buzz here, but how important is the DLC to it, given that it triples the price? Is it just more to enjoy after you’ve finished the main game, or does it make the main game qualitatively better?

And what would be the recommended starting point out of the six available campaigns in Order of Battle: World War II?

Also waffling on Deathtrap ($5), Victor Vran ($5), and Doom ($20), but will probably hold off given that I probably wouldn’t get around to them right away.

Thanks!

Homefront: The Revolution, with official Tom Chick seal of approval, is a mere $13.60 for the base game on Steam or like $4 more for the season pass bundle. It’s slightly cheaper on Greenmangaming, especially after the BLACKFRIDAY10 code, depending on how you like to get your Steam games.

DOOM is coming free with a ton of videocards, so I would expect it to be very inexpensive on the secondary market soon. If you don’t plan to play right away, wait.

Regarding Arkham Knight, I got it plus its DLC on kinguin for seven bucks.

OnePlay.com has Pillars of Eternity Hero Edition and the Expansion Pass for $10 each. However, I never heard of them before and don’t want to buy from them if this is another gray market site. Anyone have experience with them?

I ask about The Secret World every year, but that Humble Bundle makes me want to get it more than ever. Then again, after looking around, I see that The Complete Edition (base game with “Issues 1-4” and all DLC to date through “Issue 15”) is also on sale for $21 from Funcom, which is essentially the same price as The Ultimate Edition in the Steam Sale, minus the last four, very pricey DLC.

So once again, I have to ask myself “Is this the year?”

What I have to ask all of you is “What’s the deal with ‘30 Days of Membership’? I thought there was no subscription?”

Been a while since I played, but I think the Secret World membership thing just adds extras - more XP, dungeon runs, points to spend in their store, etc. Pretty sure you can play the whole story without it. I would recommend getting the DLCs, because there’s a bunch of story additions that you’ll very much want to have once you get into it.

No subscription is needed anymore to play Secret World. It’s been converted to “buy once, play forever”.

Best deal on the Ultimate Edition right now is at GreenManGaming. $17.29 VIP price, minus 10% coupon code BLACKFRIDAY10 makes the final cost only $15.56.

This is correct. Subscription is optional but you get some perks. No idea if they’d be worth it as a monthly subscriber. As a lifetime subscriber I’ve more than gotten my money’s worth. And the DLCs are (mostly) worth it and will be much more expensive separately so your best bet is the biggest bundle you can come by.

That’s a great price, as is $4 for the base game on the Humble Bundle. But for $5.50 more, the Complete Edition gets you four more DLC totaling $34 in the Steam sale (and, apparently, $100 normally). That seems like the smarter move to me if you want to commit to more than just the base game.

EDIT: What malkav11 said.

Here’s a deal for a 500GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD plus a copy of Watch Dogs 2 for $130. Normal price for the SSD is $165 so this is a real deal anyway-- and the game is gravy on top!

“Only 1 left in stock”

Best hurry!

Walmart.com has Titanfall 2 for $28 and Battlefield 1 for $27 for consoles with free shipping.

The limited edition of Dishonored 2 is only $34.99 on Amazon (all versions).

Also PC and Xbone, FYI.

I’m not seeing anything about the game at that link any more–but it’s a good price for the SSD.

More to enjoy. The game is a lot of fun without the DLC.

It’s under Special Offers and Promotions. First line. It’s actually a Samsung promo for all the 250GB and up 850 EVO/Pros through the end of the year.

Almost bought Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition on Amazon for $30, but did a last minute search and found the Xbox version for $20 at Bestbuy.com.
