Bargain Thread 2018

Just in case anyone was curious, and I honestly can’t imagine why you wouldn’t be, I ended up buying this on iOS since it’s also on sale there this week, $3.99. Something something chicken dinner!

Fanatical Star Deal is the Skullgirls Pack (base game plus a bunch of DLC) for only $1.00.

Also at Fanatical, the Fanatical Simulator Bundle is $2.49 and contains:

GreenManGaming Birthday Sale still in full swing.
24 Hour Deal is Farcry 4 for $9.60 (after code GMGBDAY). Comes with a mystery gift game and a voucher for 27% off selected other titles.
8 Hour Flash Deals (change in about 5 hours) are all decent indie games. Use code GMGBDAY on them as well to save an additional 20% off the flash sale price.

Get The Flame in the Flood FREE for a limited time during the Humble Store Spring Sale.

Same site, same game: the Steam key (obviously not a cross-play version with Xbone) is going for 23.29 USD.

Over on GMG, today’s big deal is Far Cry 4 for 12 USD, and take an extra 20% off that with coupon code GMGBDAY.

Aztez is 60% off at the Humble Store:

It’s a beat 'em up with a boardgame strategy layer. Also coming to consoles soon, including Switch.

Stories: the Path of Destinies is free on Steam for some reason.

Tom gave it a play in one of his earlier streams.

Very good game, and highly recommended, especially for free!

It’s a promo for their new game that’s releasing in a few days.

Yeah, I can also highly recommend Stories. Surprisingly good.

Elex for $25

I grabbed this and started playing it, and it’s a lot of fun. But holy cow is it slow to get going. Launching the game takes several minutes, and between each chapter there’s a long pause. My computer runs every other Steam game just fine so I can’t believe it’s a hardware thing, and besides it seems fine during actual gameplay. It’s just molasses-level slow to load.

I quite like the few hours I’ve spent in it. I do mean to go back to it soon.
