well Gamersgate charged me the Indonesian price for Dom 5 on my account so they obviously don’t care too much.
When I log into Steam it automatically changes to NZ$ even though I am logging in from Indonesia with no vpn.
I have created an account for my Indonesian wife & am debating the ethics of her purchasing games & then gifting them to me, which should work. But I feel like I am cheating, even though she would be legitimately buying from Indonesia (TLDR immigration issues in NZ).
I have no idea why the games are so cheap, with some exceptions like the Bethesda games which all seem to be full price. Even the Slitherine games are generally much cheaper.
Would region lock be a concern (and possibly explanation for the pricing), or are you planning to play the Indonesian purchases mainly when actually in Indonesia?
That is a good question.
I might buy a very cheap game & try to activate it via Teamviewer & see what happens.
Actually (duh) I already activated Dom 5 on my Steam account so I’m guessing no problem.
Nice! I would just chalk it up to fortuitous chance then and enjoy the bargain priced gaming while it lasts. Maybe look at it as a perk in consideration of your needing to travel so often. I hope the TLDR immigration issues are sorted out quickly. Best wishes to you both!

IndieGala’s new Hump Day Bundle features 10 Steam games for $3.49 (first 24 hours) including Chroma Squad, Game Dev Studio, Void Monsters : Spring City Tales, and Armed to the Gears.
While not a video game bundle, Humble has a nice Cubicle 7 - The One Ring PnP RPG Bundle. For $1 you get the base edition of The One Ring, a Lord of the Rings RPG system, and some maps. Two additional tiers at $8 and $15 adds up to 11 scenarios/supplements and half a dozen more maps. These are all well-written, nicely illustrated full color PDFs. They’re interesting just to read through even if you never actually play the PnP game.

Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 Year Celebration PC is $15.49 at CDKeys. I have not seen it cheaper.
Humble also has a media software bundle with all kinds of utilities from CyberLink. The main video creation tool is called PowerDirector 15 Ultra. Anyone know if it’s any good?
Sadly, not including PowerDVD, which I believe is their flagship product and the only one I care about.

I use PowerDirector 14 Ultra to take wildlife videos from holidays and turn them into youtube clips. It works really well, at least for that, but you have to spend some initial time learning where things are in the interface. It has some really great features too, like shake reduction (it crops the image a tad and then automagically removes alot of the shake if the video was taken handheld in less than ideal conditions).
So now I need to work out if moving to 15 is worth it, or going straight to 16 which is the newest one.
21% off Bögenhafen , haven’t bought anything from them before. I also see you can get a $5 voucher if you sign up for the newsletter.

This game is so great! The parts where you’re given a jet pack and a giant hammer and you can just launch into the air and come down like a ton of bricks on some guy - we’ll, it just makes life worth living, I tell you.
WinGameStore has a back to school sale going on:
I’m not clear on whether I have to do anything special to collect the daily stamp. Does it show somehow that it’s collected?
Just an FYI: You need to activate your free game by September 15 so don’t sit on it (like I usually do).
Hmm, not showing for me, and I visited the site, so I don’t know what I’m missing. Maybe if I disable my ad-blocker?
Yup, that was it.
In the Grim Darkness of the 21st Century, there are only bargains, and the mocking laughter of bloated backlogs.
