Sadly, the coupon won’t work for DLC. Per the FAQ, “This coupon cannot be used on pre-purchases or any non-game purchase such as add-ons (like DLC or season passes) or in-game purchases (such as in-game currency, like Vbucks in Fortnite, or upgrades like Save the World mode).”

An interesting discrepancy: in the UK the Epic discount voucher is £10 (about $13 I think) which is more money off, but applicable to fewer games (lower limit is £15/$20ish). Not complaining though!
As guessed yesterday, today’s free game is Towerfall Ascension, which I’ve enjoyed a lot on the Switch.

No, the developers promised the ability to mod during early access, but eventually had to move on from the game so released a mod kit on Epic’s platform (game is on Unreal Engine). To the best of my knowledge there are no mods, or there weren’t a few months ago; the game is wholly separate to this kit (and is not on sale on the epic store).
The game itself is not bad, it gets a bit same-y as it goes on.
