That’d be cool, 7 Billion Humans is on my wishlist (I already own all the others). Of course, it could just be Little Inferno, which would be… less cool.
I picked up Anno 1800 from Epic but I’m having a bizarre problem with the game icon. If I create a desktop shortcut from EGS, I get a game icon with the ubisoft logo, which is just… wrong.
If I create a shortcut from the uplay client, I get three shortcuts, all with blank icons:
How do I fix this?

Browse the local files in Uplay (properties->open folder) and find the exe and make a shortcut to that.

Looks like those are in store only. I’m browsing the PS4 section and there’s tons of great stuff that qualifies. Highly recommend Astro Bot for 5 bucks with other games if anyone has a PSVR, or 10 if you can’t find it used.
Thanks for the advice. As it turns out, the icons fixed themselves this morning, I didn’t do anything. Maybe some Windows scheduled task runs in the middle of the night to fix icons.
It was Little Inferno. Not sure what tomorrow is. Ape Out maybe?

Tomorrow has got to be Celeste, which I love, but already own on PC and Switch.
and Celeste was already given away for free by Epic not too long ago.

Ape Out looks so interesting. I’m a fan of Gabe Cuzzillo, which may be a weird thing to say because I believe his only other project is the freeware Foiled, which is an excellent fighting game similar to Towerfall and Samurai Gunn.
It does look neat (and I love jazz).

is there a trick to predicting what the next free will be? Wondering how Ape Out was picked.
It came up when they were just monkeying around.
I played quite a bit of Ape Out on Game Pass for PC. It’s a great game. When the game progresses to the Skyscraper level, it got a little too hard for me, but I still loved it as a little experience. It’s perfect as a free game.
EDIT: I guess I missed yesterday’s giveaway of Superhot. Oops, I wasn’t home at the right times. Oh well, I do still have access to that game through Game Pass if I want to continue playing it.
Specific to this 12 days of games thing, if you go to the page for the promotion it has an image for the next day’s game. Is that what you mean, how are we guessing them?
You “swipe right” from today’s game, I think it’s a little more obvious on a desktop than on a mobile browser that there’s another panel in that view.
