Yes, it was mentioned in the Epic thread that there will be a few repeats.

For those waiting for a good price on Wreckfest it’s down to 13.60 on GMG, but there’s an additional 5% off today with coupon code HAPPYHOLIDAYS.

Kinda dumb but not totally so it seems. TABS free on the Epic Games Store for the next 24 hours:

Did you get a VR setup for the holidays? If so, you may want to check out Fanatical’s VR Pick and Mix Bundle. 18 titles to choose from at 1 for $2.99, 3 for $7.99 or 5 for $12.99.

Fanatical also has the Metal Slug Pack Bundle for $2.99 as the Star Deal today. Metal Slug 1-3 and Metal Slug X all included.

Two Point Hospital is $10.49 (70%), near a historic low

Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays to all of Quarter to Three!
May 2020 bring you all health, success and happiness, and of course, bargain games.

Well you could knock me over with a feather. Weird!

So… I got some cash money for Christmas. What’s the general take on when sales happen between now and the near-future (let’s say… Valentine’s)? WRT sales, I don’t mean just games, but other stuff, too. Is there any type of mini-Black Friday event in the first part of the year?

Most retailers are in clearance mode immediately after the holidays. They want to sell down their stock for inventory purposes so go wild in the next week or three

Thanks for the reminder. I grabbed it. The next game looks kind of like a space ship? I hope it’s not kerbal space program. Hopefully it’s FTL. I’ve always been kind of curious about that one, but never enough to actually look it up or to wishlist or anything.

FTL is one of the best games ever made. You should play it.

Just as soon as they make it turn-based.

This. FTL and Bomber Crew both look cool, but the frantic nature of their game-play scare away old gamers like me.

I don’t find FTL frantic at all, personally. Great game, though.

You can pause FTL at any time.

It’s obviously real time with pause then!

Do not pause to get this fine game - currently free on the EGS for the next 24 hours.

But can you issue orders while paused? That was something I always liked about the Myth series back when.

Of course, that’s point of the pause anytime feature, and why it’s linked to the spacebar.

The price point of “FREE” seems to present a reduced-enough barrier to entry if you have any trepidation about the game that has overwhelmingly positive reviews and was so good that it sort of spawned its own sub-genre.

Just sayin’. ;)

Any guesses as to tomorrow?

Hyper Light Drifter.
