Multiplayer World War I FPS Verdun is the Fanatical Star Deal today for a historic low $2.99 (80%).

Fanatical has also launched a Build-Your-Own Retro Bundle starting at $1.99 for 5 titles. There are some blasts from the distant past in the mix, and I can’t say how well they run or have held up, but if you’re looking for a nostalgia trip…

The excellent space RTS game Battlestar Galactica : Deadlock is $11.99 (70%) on Fanatical, and some of the DLC is also discounted. This one got high marks from our own Mr. Spaceman, @BrianRubin.

GreenManGaming has PC Building Simulator for $11.38 (43%). That’s one of the better deals on it I’ve seen lately.

GreenManGaming is also featuring a trio of publisher’s sales this weekend:

Aspyr games are up to 98% off, including franchises like Borderlands, Civilization VI and all it’s DLC, Call of Duty, Bioshock and more.

Kalypso titles are also on sale. ARPG Shadows Awakening is $13.60 (66%). Warhammer 40K : Mechanicus is $15.29 (49%) and Railway Empire is $14.45 (71%) with all of it’s DLC discounted. Lots of other Kalypso titles on sale as well.

1C Titles are also on sale. Deep Sky Derelicts is $8.00 (60%), Re-Legion : Holy Wars is $8.00 (60%), Fell Seal : Arbiter’s Mark is $17.99 (40%), and Ancestor’s Legacy is $14.00 (60%) among other deals.

IndieGala has a new Space Odyssey Bundle. $12.99 gets you Steam keys for:

  • Space Engineers
  • CreaVures
  • SCHAR : Blue Shield Alliance
  • Daedalus : No Escape

Meanwhile over at Steam:

  • Play Two Point Hospital FREE all weekend, and purchase for $17.49 (50%).
  • To celebrate the release of it’s Three Kingdoms DLC, Oriental Empires is $7.50 (75%), and the Genghis DLC is $3.40 (66%).
  • The Homeworld Franchise is also on sale, with Homeworld Remastered for $5.24 (85%) and Deserts of Kharak for $7.49 (85%).

It is excellent indeed, but it’s not an RTS. It’s turn-based WEGO in the vein of Combat Mission, Frozen Synapse and the like.

Reminds me a bit of the old DOS version of Wooden Ships & Iron Men.

Blackguards franchise for $1.99 on Steam until Sep 5.

This is a good deal. I enjoyed all these games.

Android - free Riptide GP Renegade

It’s a fun game, similar to Hydro Thunder.

The Reigns are also on sale cheap, and a 1$ standalone 2 hour story for This War of Mine.

Canada - EBGames is selling all their PS3, 360, Wii & DS games for 3$ tomorrow (3rd). Only one not included is Xenoblade.

Twitch Prime free games for September are available… Yoku’s Island Express! Also, Stealth Inc 2, Manual Samuel (which had been free once already) and something called “Chicken Assassin: Reloaded”.

But Yoku’s Island Express!

This is a crime. Who the hell didn’t play Yoku’s Island Express yet?!

Me!!!

Go into your room! And I’d better hear that game’s sounds turned on!

People whose lives are bereft of joy, obviously.

I didn’t know the word, yet I understood what it meant!

Nice! I’ve been wanting to try that.

The physical Xbox and PS4 versions of recently released Control is $38.24 at Amazon. You will see discount at checkout.

Awe yiss its great!

Nice new RPG bundle on humble: https://www.humblebundle.com/games/rpgs-2019

$1 tier:
Hiveswap Act 1
Deep Sky Derelicts
Immortal Planet

BTA (currently $4.08):
Tyrrany
Pillars of Eternity
Cat Quest

$15 tier
Borderlands GOTY enhanced edition

The middle tier is amazing value.

Cat Quest is an RPG? I already have Tyranny and Pillars. I’ve never heard of the ones in the $1 tier.

Deep Sky Derelicts is a no-brainer for $1, I’ve really enjoyed my time with it. It’s a great little strategic RPG. For those curious, Tom streamed it last year:

Not owning Catquest already is a disservice to yourself. ;)

Good bundle, but I own every game except Immortal Planet.

Seriously? I guess I need to find the cat quest thread. I thought it was a joke game, like Goat Simulator.
