But what if they give that away???

If only they could give me the time to play so many games. I still have free games from last year’s giveaway that I haven’t gotten to.
Yes, literally today. It has a 20% launch discount to cut the price to $19.99, and somehow the coupon works with it as well, so $9.99. That is pretty nuts.
New Fenyx and Watchdogs games are around $30 with the coupon and Ass Creed Valhalla is around $40

Oh yeah, the sale ends on January 7th, so plenty of time to see what they give away first. Maybe not the…best sales strategy? But, whatever.
Edit: Oh man, Dead Cells for five bucks!
But…what if they give that away???
Man, I already own Redout + dlc on Xbox, and have TT Isle of Man through Gold, and Grip through Game Pass, but for $5 that’s still a tempting price.

Re-reckoning doesn’t look worth it. It looks like the same game as on PC with a sharpen filter applied to the textures. Anyone pick it up already care to comment? I’m annoyed existing owners didn’t get a discount offered on Steam or Origin.
The refund policy covers this, but if you buy something that later goes on sale, you can refund and repurchase at the lower price.
Anyone know if the Epic store sale prices are static throughout the sale or if new things come and go as the sale progresses?

Graphically, the remaster is supposedly a let down (though I only played the Xbox 360 version), but I’m more interested in the leveling calculation tweaks they made and the new difficulty level. Also, I think console is now 60 FPS, from 30 FPS.
I only put iabout 7 hours into the original release and though I was enjoying it, it felt too easy. I only stopped playing because some other game I had to play came along and then came the Xbox One.
So I’m looking forward to giving it another spin.
They did, on Steam. I know because I am one and I took advantage. It was 50% off, stacking with the launch discount. What it wasn’t was a permanent discount.
And the big reason to get the remaster isn’t the graphical remastering, it’s the upcoming new DLC (and possibly further DLCs down the line). Well, that and the questlog working at 4K. :P

Is there any way to buy these as a gift and send them a code?
There is a pretty big sale incoming on the Nintendo eShop. It’s already hit Europe, with @Chappers and @krayzkrok favourite Horace at 1.5€, and Book of Demons at 2€. Should be the same in the States, now or shortly.
