I think BF1 lends itself nicely to that style of play though. No one will get mad if you join a server, play for fifteen minutes, and drop out. I highly recommend playing some Operations.
The solo stuff in the BF1/BF5 games is not bad, though quality varies wildly. I liked most of the campaigns in both. But @DaveLong has it right, the multi is where it’s at. And no one minds if you drop out/in. The trick can be finding the game mode you want with the numbers/ping you want.
