They would have had to jump again, though. Lemme see what the next couple were.

Looks like it wasn’t going to last too long anyway.

Give in to Despair

Labor Dispute

Humans didn’t have cards to beat the -2 Morale fail on the first one, because Destiny was adding a 3ABM and a 4VO.

Ahh. Sorry humans, seems like the twelve are too busy fracking each other and have abandoned you.

When the crisis deck goes Full Evil there isn’t much to do about it. Also we finally hit the Treachery-Mutiny-Brig cycle that I try hard to avoid.

Also Craig was executed 3 times. Which is hilarious. (Edit: Twice)

But Perky also once, and Jorn also once, and Lantz once too…and also soon.

6 executions. Geez.

Good game all! And many thanks for running it. At times it seemed we were destined to win, then other times it seemed all was going in favor of humanity. I was sad I got a power I could have used much better as a human all game long.

I didn’t have much reason to hide as I had no titles and definitely gave it away early on. I think I definitely should have executed Apollo when I had the chance, though he died eventually anyways (well, all the humans did I suppose).

I think I have been Roslin a number of times, more than once before.

Oh weird, I just track it all in my head, no big deal*

Thanks for hosting the game KS! Moderating is a grind and we thank you for your service! Just got home and need to get the kids to bed before I can share my thoughts.

*considering how much I get wrong it might sound believable.

Congrats Cylons!

And thank you for running the game, @Knightsaber.

I was sitting on an execution quorum card but, with you playing right before me, it was never likely to come into play. Anything that landed you in the slammer was going to be negated as soon as your turn came around and before mine did. Only an aggressive effort to first jail you and then XO me could work. I had hopes that Lantz might start that chain of events but he opted to focus on prepping and launching civvies instead and then the chance was gone.

I think that generally we did all the right human things on New Caprica. Executing title-less Cylons is fun but rarely is that valuable vs getting off faster with almost all the civilians. If Jorn had been a Cylon then getting the title off him would have been paramount.

I do, too. Just lamenting the chances to do more useful things along the way. Playing Roslin is weird that way, even the simple play of using the quorum machine is problematic, and it seems like after the first round even that wasn’t an option anymore because I was always somewhere else and/or short of cards and then the quorum machine blew up anyway.

I enjoyed the visual of the ever burning tire fire that folllowed the fleet around (as opposed to the stark void that was Pegasus)

Thanks @Knightsaber , that was tough. Its amazing how a few small differences made all the difference. It was going good* until it suddenly wasn’t.

We did it right, but the cascade was real and not something we could have mitigated.

Honestly that super crisis destiny draw was probably one of the most consequential in a game ever, about the only thing that could come close was one that resulted in a ill timed brigging or execution

*we had troubles, sure, but absent that falling 1 short of sunshine and roses turn, we realistically probably could have sorted things out, or at least made it go to the wire

I was worried I mistimed my super crisis at first. Figured it would be rough having to fend off mine after Lantz played his though. Would love to play this in person one of these years!

Lol was viewing the game and caught this series of rounds:

First round: Roslin goes to sick bay as a result of crisis card
Second round: Roslin sends self to brig by by choosing discard option on crisis card
Third round: Roslin sent back to sick bay by crisis card
Fourth round: Roslin sent to medical center by evil @rowe33
Fifth round: Roslin strands self on New Caprica by choosing discard option on crisis card
Sixth round: Roslin sent to sick bay by crisis card result
Seventh round: Roslin sent to sick bay by Galactica damage
Eighth round: Roslin sends self to brig by crisis card choice

It’s like fate is sending a message here!

Seriously, I really enjoyed this game. Thanks again to @Knightsaber for all the work of running it and to everyone who played!

Yeah, this game really felt like a rollercoaster. I think the logistics of running it seems quite taxing, so thank you for the effort @Knightsaber.

I still have trouble seeing how Craig thought I was a Cylon, though.

I forgot Rowe had drawn cards outside his set so legitimately thought only you or I could have added that Engineering(?) card

You’re probably right, I think maybe I drew engineering early in the game.

And I almost got away with it, if not for you kids!

Sorry, as a human it’s my job to foil your robo shenanigans.
