Maybe jumping and repairing would’ve been better, but who knew?
I think food and morale too… but looking at the card list, maybe getting fuel is not that impossible. I can’t pick, that’s why I promoted you as former president.
While looking at the Quorum cards, I noticed there’s not a lot that’s useful without picking fights or allies, and most of the rest is to combat shortfalls. I can see why @rowe33 might not play what he drew, but it’s probably enough cards for now.
At the time, I tended to agree with the decision to lose the morale as we’re not very good at repairing Galactica. On the other hand, the Pegasus makes an excellent damage soak so maybe that’s the wrong way of thinking.
As far as shooting vs. escorting on my turn goes, once we’ve jumped there may well be an opportunity to escort the civilian to safety anyway but there won’t be chance to shoot the raiders. I was still expecting two hits out of that though. I need better wingmen.
For this choice, I’m also leaning food & morale. @Perky_Goth: did that scout give you a better idea of whether fuel is likely to run short?
I don’t see how @rowe33 thought he could just casually dump 2 morale. I mean, I don’t love the idea that I could have ended up in sick bay there, but 2 morale for 2 damage?
I think we should dump the morale here. As much as it sucks, we’re down 2 pop already and fuel is always brutal to dump early, maybe we’ll luck into some and can dump it more safely later.
Could those two hits have gone to Pegasus above? If so, my bad, I thought it specifically stated Galactica so I had no choice. Morale can be saved though.
