So, the BBC did a radio dramatization of Gaiman’s Neverwhere back in March starring James McAvoy, Benedict Cumberbatch, Christopher Lee and Natalie Dormer (better known as Margery Tyrell on Game of Thrones right now). It’s kind of amazing. I’m not including a link because it’s no longer officially available for download as far as I can tell, but any intrepid googlers out there can track it down pretty easily. I want more of it. MORE. Does anyone else listen to these BBC productions and have recommendations of other great ones to check out? It’s kind of hard to top McAvoy & Cumberbatch, but I’ve got an open mind.
What a strange journey.
BBC mini series -> novel -> comic -> radio drama.
Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, obviously.
Well, their Lord of the Rings audiobook is an absolute classic. But I assume everyone knows that by now, right? (starring Ian Holm & Bill Nighy amongst many others)
Its currently on youtube actually…
