Best Pieces of Games Journalism

Rick makes a good point. I suspect the “journalism” tag would exclude a lot of excellent work from consideration. (Though there’s certainly some noteworthy “games journalism,” such as GameSpot’s piece on the decline and fall of Trilobyte or GameCenter’s on the effective sale of shelf space in Software stores.)

Better to use “game writing,” or the less-confusing “writing on games.” :)

Less confusing?

Less confusing than “game writing,” which could be interpreted to mean writing -in- games. :)

I liked OMM a lot. It was one of those sites I checked daily.

As opposed to “writing on games” which for me first brings to mind the image of a seven-year-old scribbling on a PS2 DVD with a magic marker?
