I’m curious what the best source for historical game sales data is, across platforms. Is there one canonical source? A web-based searchable system would be best, but any kind of accessible record would work.
I’m asking for a friend, and I figured you folks here in qt3 would have the answer to this no problem. No big deal if the service/database costs money.
NPD would be the best, but you have to pay for access. Otherwise, I’d suggest your friend contact the publishers and/or developers and ask. Chances are most won’t be willing to divulge such information.
