Really! I got one in an e-mail before CERN invented the WWW.

64-part a capella rendition of Thriller. Oh yeah, and it’s all one guy.

Apparently tiohn has been living under a rock.

It’s pretty common to do one man a capella stuff via multitrack recording.
It’s a ton easier to blend with your own voice than to blend with somebody else’s voice.
Obviously you can’t do that live.

(Apologies if this has been posted over the weekend while I was away)

Very similar concept to Fatboy Slim’s video for Ya Mama.

I like the Fatboy Slim one better, though. Funnier.

Yeah, I love that Fatboy Slim video too. But the Chemical Brothers one always brings a smile to my face. It has a certain joy about it that always brightens my day.

Ever see good beatboxers? They do it with a sampler.

Scuba diving cat and dog:

I question whether the cat “going limp” is a sign that it is really relaxed and enjoying it.

Super cool beatboxing/editing video:

Stick it out, it gets pretty crazy after a bit

Enjoyed that quite a bit.

Eh, I did a search for “Thriller” and didn’t find it. It was new to me. :)

Both vids just brightened my day. Can’t help going “whoa” at how similar the Chemical Brothers’ vid is, though. I loved when the car passed with the dancing girl. Also loved the 28 Days Later dancing effect in the Fatboy one. Do you suppose that the dancers were simply able to move like that, or was there a cinematographic trick?
