Not youtube, but this commercial proves that the Danes have conquered television (first one): : http://www.fleggaard.dk/movie.aspx

NSFW.

Goodness that looked great. Somebody please make this happen!

Based on that short description, I thought it was going to be this commercial, which is NSFW for entirely different reasons. Also this appears to be Dutch rather than Danish, but I didn’t remember that.

Flirting With Magic!

Found on a blog I’m going to have to read through, Everything is Terrible.

that was magnificent

Steven Spielberg talks to Andy Warhol

Bianca Jagger is there too, and strong possibility of intoxication.

Daredevil Rhys Millen makes his truck do a backflip.

Insane person Robbie Madison sets the world record for highest jump on a motorcycle by jumping to the top of the Paris Hotel’s fake Arc de Triumphe, and if that’s not enough, he deliberately falls off it as well.

I give the winning edge to Madison’s girlfriend. There’s a women who knows what’s required of a Daredevil’s Worried Significant Other. I mean Millen’s woman looks almost disappointed he survived.

I give the nod to calling Madison “the fucking man” on air, whoever that was.

The jumping up was cool enough. The jumping back down made me want to vomit.

Watching that video immediately after a Trials 2 session definitely blunts its impact.

Anyway, here’s an important message about bread.

Loud and clear on Live Nationwide television. Highlight of my New Year’s Eve.

I also liked Madison snapping at the girl who was trying to work on his broken and bleeding hand to “leave it the fuck alone” while he did and interview. Then spending the next minute or so teetering on the edge of going into shock while trying to sound coherent.

Loved the tourettic head shakes and 3d animation of all the ways he could die as well.

It’s not made for television. There’s a bunch of somewhat tamer commercials made for tv (Fleggaard is a Danish shop just on the other side of the German border selling mainly beer, alcohol and electronics to Danes and benefitting from Germanys lower taxes).
This one would be a bit much even for Danish television (the nudity is ok, but the objectifying of women would probably land them in hot water), which is why the final text reads “Just across the border”, which in Denmark also means ‘just a bit too far’.

The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain performs Shaft.

That pretty much delivers exactly what was promised.

Damn. What didn’t they put into that performance?

Why do I have a feeling those guys wouldn’t have been picked if it weren’t for Lordi in 2006?

Apocalyptica rules.

Youtube running like George Wendt uphill for anyone else this weekend?

So Stevie gets dreamie and swallows transitors.

This is the weirdest fan interview I’ve ever seen. The good thing is you can see how ridiculous Warhol is as an artist and man. He is a polite dinner conversationalist, though.

Thank you Pop Art for reminding us to be polite when we really just want to kill.
