What’s the animated (rotoscoped?) flick in the montage?
Waltz with Bashir, an animated documentary which I thought was by far the best film of 2008. Rotoscope is only one of the types of animation it uses.
Posted before I believe, and it’s fake. It was done mostly with a remote controlled miniature.

That was pretty good up until the landing, when it looked very fake. Although I do think most stunt planes could just hover down, their engines are powerful enough to act like a helicopter. That is, if they can get out of the spin.

The Pop (nfsw) - a dark, gritty reinvention of Popeye in the style of Batman Begins (it is a parody). Or Popeye meets film noir, kinda of like Sin City but much better.
Here’s a real account of a military pilot landing an F-15 with a shorn-off wing:

what. the. hell. (NSFW)
Found this through Wil Wheaton’s blog. The guy has a bunch more of them, none quite as awesome as this one, but they’re all pretty good.
Amazing parody of the NYT’s Weekender ads written and directed by Michael Showalter and starring Paul Rudd, Michael Ian Black, David Wain, and other NYC comedy folk.

Fixed that up for you.

I watched these over and over last night. A few others I liked were “bridge tomfoolery” and “a fistful of explosions”. I’m a sucker for that kind of stuff. :)
The Holy G. Probably the greatest commercial Gatorade has ever done

Pretty cool. Still not my favorite Gatorade commercial, but granted my favorite isn’t a legit one. The best part of the Holy G is when they met the wizard. It reminded me a bit of how Shut up and Jam would handle basketball and monty python. :)
Wow, the others must suck then.
Imagine changing so little from the original and then still manage to drain it of funny. The dancing was ok.

I like the Kettle version best, but I think A/C did it earlier.
