As Jon Danger said, “So awesome!”
This is so fun to watch if you have seen Wall-E.
Wow, I’m surprised the Henson people have allowed that one to stay up.

Holy shit. My two favorite movies from the past twelve months combined. That’s fantastic.
Spike Jonze returns to music video directing.

He creates an awesome bit of tension in the first 1/2 of the video and it’s pretty cool the way he figuratively and literally releases it.
How much of that do you think was faked/CGI? I amazed at how credulous people are about it.

Why do you think it’s fake?

The black and white sheep walking animation are… highly suspect.
And if not CGI they are heavily edited to look seamless.

I think this is the more likely explanation. I mean, it’s pretty OBVIOUSLY heavily edited, given that people (and dogs) don’t jump from position to position like they do in the video. But I don’t think you’d need CGI to do it; just a lot of time in the video editing room.
And you REALLY think they could have pulled off that Mona Lisa thing?

It isn’t as if they managed to herd various colored sheep into formation and then have all of the sheep stand there. They move them into sections, took a photo, then a different section, took another photo, etc… it’s time-consuming, but hey, what else are you going to do if you live in Wales?

Yes, whatever else could a welshman think up to do with a sheep.
Yes, and then there’s the fact that the creators of the video aren’t even trying to pretend it’s completely real:
And by “people” I can only assume he means “gullible morons”.
No, I think he meant “people who realize that mankind has done much more incredible things than herd sheep in a particular pattern.”
You might want to look up the definitions of both “gullible” and “moron”. It was neither overly credulous nor moronic to believe that bored sheep herders might do stupid shit in their spare time.

I assumed Microsoft choose “Leopard” as the codename for Windows 7 based on the cat. Now Im thinking its form the leopard slug.
