It’s a cool demolition, but the whole reason I posted it was because of the music. It’s a reference to an SNL skit involving that music (which was making fun of an OC episode using that music).

It’s a good Imogen Heap song, but being overplayed.

Are you not getting the joke part of it?

No, I guess not.

Well explaining it probably won’t make it funny after the fact, but here’s the original relevant clip of the OC:

and here’s the SNL skit:

Wholly, thanks for posting those. After watching the OC scene, which is just godawful and funny, the SNL skit comes off as totally knee-slapping awesome. I think I’ve seen that a dozen times and it doesn’t stop being great.

Still not getting the funny. Oh well, I must be old and jaded.

It was a completely inappropiate song to use for that scene in the OC. SNL parodied its use by overplaying it in theirs and was oddly enough, a lot more appropiate. The drexel shaft use is fairly appropiate.

After the SNL skit, you could basically play Hide and Seek anytime someone is falling in slow motion to their death. The Drexel Shaft scene is not just fairly appropriate, it’s like a perfect usage.

Ok yeah after watching the OC scene and listening as the music started which was a big wtf the SNL skit was perfect.

I miss spacemonkey.

Sorry all, I don’t watch SNL, so I didn’t get it.

H.

Someone used a lame song inappropriately and now the internet is going to meme it to death by placing it over videos of things falling slowly. Clear?

“You are the WORST predator I have ever seen. Jesus H. Christ.”

The SNL/OC bit was over two years ago; even if it was “memed to death” at the time, I think we’re to the point where it can safely be used to humorous effect again. Especially if you’re not expecting it.

Quick, someone go add Hide and Seek to that Modern Warfare 2 knife toss video that’s going around!

Loved it.

My dogs give me that look every time they catch something in our backyard & I throw away their catch in disgust.

I’m very familiar with the look, is what I’m trying to say.
