I think infidelity could end my five year relationship, but not “you got till sunday to pack, bitch!” end it. And after beeing with somebody for five years that I claimed to love, I don’t see myself getting back at her. I might not be able to forgive enough to continue the relationship - but there’s a lot of way from that and to what this dick did.

I am young. I’ve been cheated on plenty of times, and maybe you haven’t. Being cheated on fucking sucks dude. It’s the worst feeling; not only are you losing someone, but you lost them so hard that they already turned to someone else.

I can’t imagine that after 5 years I would be any sort of okay. I doubt I would be ‘understanding’. It would probably take a lot of restraint to not kill the fucker she cheated on me with. Anyone who thinks she got what she deserved by being broken up with… I mean, honestly? She toyed with this guy, for who knows how long, and with who knows how many people. Sure she may have loved him, and if she truly did, she should not have fooled around with another guy behind his back.

Did he go a little extreme? Yeah. But if he had just broken it off unexpectedly I doubt she would’ve learned any sort of lesson. The lesson being; don’t cheat on your long time bf/gf unless you’re ready to deal with some hard consequences.

But enough shitting up the youtube thread with this discussion.

This does exclude surprise breakups by the guy or sudden “Holy cats I’ve got to get out of this relationship or he’s going to kill me” revelations, but any time a woman has more than a month to consider breaking up with you, she’s already started coming on to five other guys. It’s just how they’re wired, it’s nothing personal.

Don’t pretend that people get revenge to teach someone something. They do it because they are immature douches who think that relationships have a winner and a loser. It’s easier to let go of a bad relationship when you aren’t obsessing over how you could have twisted the knife a little more on the way out.
