The University of Cambridge puts some lectures and a bunch of podcasts on Youtube.
The ones that will most interest people are in the Cambridge Ideas folder. There are also, I am told, some floating around on iTunes.

Remember that day in school when the boys were separated from the girls and each given private lectures and videos to watch?
Well, if you’ve ever wondered what the girls watched, I’m pretty sure it went down like this:
A feminine hygiene how-to guide
Somebody could have died making this.
I just spit out my drink - hilarious

So what do you get when you’re in Youtube to turn off bad language and most of your “favorite videos” are of Weird Al, Jets, and Simulations?
Youtube’s latest, “We think you’ll enjoy this video”:
and my WTF of the year
An Albino Girl, a Ninja rapper, and a DJ with Progeria.
jpinard that is just…I don’t even know…

I knew what the video was before I even clicked the link.
This is my favorite of the Die Antwoord videos:
Zef Side
Worth mentioning that Die Antwoord just signed to Interscope and Neill Blomkamp is directing their next video.
Also, retro WTF.

Also worth mentioning is that Leon Botha (the guy with progeria) is not their DJ, he’s just in the video. He’s actually an artist:
Of course, I think you can argue the whole thing is kind of an art project.
Also worth mentioning is that Die Antwoord is awesome, it rocks face, and Rimbo is a doodyhead.
The iTunes thing might be part of iTunesU, which hosts lectures of University’s most popular classes for anyone who wants to watch them, and if your school is signed up, you can watch other schools videos for free. It’s a pretty interesting concept.

I thought the video was a joke at first. Like a South African version of Vanilla Ice with some female Japanese style vocals.
Demon - Axe Cop is a lot better when you realize it was written by a 5-year old.
I know it’s written by a 5 year old. It was funny once, but a continuous series kinda strains the joke a bit.

Yeah, Axe Cop is funny in one video. There was no need to expand it to a full web page and a comic series. WTF?
I was hoping Axe Cop was gonna make enough pages to fill up a comic book or, at most, a graphic novel and then quit. It’s funny and precocious and the kid is pretty imaginative, but the joke runs out pretty fast.
I guess it’s hard to blame them for striking while the iron’s hot, though.
Plus the cool thing about the internet is that you can just watch the one video and then not look at any more of it!
