I haven’t watched many of these videos coming out of Iraq, but this one caught my attention. It’s just insane. I can’t believe how different real combat is than what it looks like in the movies or stories. Lots of cursing, lots of jumping around when being shot at, not knowing where people are, not knowing what’s going on, standing around with your weapon down when people that are trying to kill you are just a stairs away, shouting “Allah Ackbar!”

This video is pretty insane. Nothing too bloody, but NSFW because of language. Also, some dead bodies and and dog dies.

I heard one of them, just as the shouting started occuring saying, “This thing is on camera.” They may have changed how they handled it because of it, at least at that moment.

It is crazy. I’d probably just freeze crap myself and die in combat. Or maybe I’d die, then crap myself.

One of the comments suggested this could be viral marketing for Halo 3. The game does feature the Covenant invading Earth. And those ships do look a bit like something Bungie would design. Hmm.
