One of the comments suggested this could be viral marketing for Halo 3. The game does feature the Covenant invading Earth. And those ships do look a bit like something Bungie would design. Hmm.

I, for one, think this sucks. That looked super real. We’ve reached the point where if someone tapes a real UFO or alien (or anything, for that matter), people are just going to dismiss it (rightly so) as fake/computer effects.
