Well, the alternative cut up verison it isn’t clear, but I looked up the orginal on YouTube.

This woman tells about how she’ll be head chef in a year, and how she’s so pretty and engadged to a great guy. She then goes to carry a pot of boiling water from the stove and slips and falls on some grease and scalds her face and she starts screaming and it gets all nasty and burned and shit.

Seriously, it scared the fuck out of me. I’m never leaving shit lay around at work EVER again.

They played it multiple times during the broadcast of Hockey Night in Canada tonight. I’m not one to scream “THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!11”, but I watched HNIC when I was like 5 or 6, and I assume kids that young or younger were watching today. That ad would have given me nightmares for weeks if I had seen it at that age. I won’t dispute that the message is important and the spot was effective, but shame on the CBC for airing such a graphic PSA when they knew kids would be watching. I wouldn’t be surprised if they receive many angry letters about this.

In my opinion, the close-up of her scalded fucked up face really puts it over the top. If they had just shown her screaming on the floor w/o that shot, it would still be fucked up and effective, but the one with her face all fucked to hell is REALLY outrageous.
