That might be fun. I remember doing a Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup tournament once that had that sort of thing set up, and I spent a lot of time looking at it and berating myself.

I actually put on my backup rapier (I had 2 of them) and backup Leather Armor on when I went to fight them. That is a good tip on fighting naked. I didn’t think that would work and didn’t think to try that. Also, I meant to say Ogre above and not Troll. My bad!

Quester’s Log
[spoiler]- interesting seed. The first level has an invisibility charm and a shattering charm, both reusable and could be useful in a bind. I tried the shattering charm in a corner of level 1 where there looked like space for a room and found… a large room filled with water with nothing else in it!
- level 2 has THREE treasure vaults and two keys, going to try and use the shattering charm to break into the one I can’t get unlock (nope- shatterproof walls!). I’ve also handily used a potion of detect magic to maximise what I take… difficult decision between wand of negation and charm of health (went for the health in the end). Also picked up a ring of transference from 2nd vault. Also turns out the rapier from level 1 is a +3 rapier - I’ll use it for now but I really hate rapiers
- on level 7 just after I use up my 3 saved scrolls of enchanting to make a +0 war pike equippable I find a vault with a +3 runic sword in it, doh! I’m wielding it now to see what it does… oh it slams people 8 squares backwards into walls!
- aaaand on level 8 just as I feel things are going to be alright… I get overwhelmed by a combination of an ogre and a scroll of summon monsters I was trying to identify… ouch!

Though I suppose it would be more fitting if it was the dragon that killed him. Then he could be in the picture as well…but flambeed, of course!
Well, my pet tentacle horror’s suicide was basically the beginning of the end for that run, so why not? H it is.

Ha. That’s about the apex of my drawing skills. I did take a drawing class once, wherein I produced some drawings that were of far better quality, but it’s been a long time and I didn’t have a tentacle horror around to be a live nude model.
