Bill Paxton dead at 61

I’m so glad I’m not that only one that does that.

Just found out. Super bummed.

Hudson lives in my soul!

I sure am tired of losing so many in their sixties. This is just so sad.

Goddamn it. Too young.

Aw man. Well that’s a greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray.

Gonna pour one out for Chet tonight.

He was excellent in Big Love as well.

RIP. In so many memorable movies! (and add A Simple Plan to ones already mentioned.)

Damn so sad to see this. Just happened to catch a good part of Apollo 13 last weekend while channel surfing. Really one of the quality I guess you would call him “character actors” we had. I guess I would have to put Aliens at the top just because he had so many damn classic one liners in it.

RIP Bill…

One of my favourite actors…part of so many of my favourite movies. God dammit.

In the celebrities-die-in-threes thing, Judge Wapner of the People’s Court has died.

This is very sad to hear. I always loved the energy he brought to movies. :(

I’m going to watch his directing debut, Frailty, tonight.

Man, I forgot all about Martini Ranch. Still have the Holy Cow album buried somewhere in the spare bedroom.

This was so surprising. Had he been sick? Such a shame. RIP.

Apparently he had a stroke as a complication from heart surgery.

I think A Simple Plan was my favorite movie of his.

Still speculative, but his surgery may have been necessary due to a six-month case of rheumatic fever he suffered as a child, which damaged his heart valves. Shitty.

Shitty. Aliens is my favorite movie.
