Slight Plasmid spoilers for anyone that has not finished the Farmer’s Market:

I would like to take this opportunity to say that I wish that every game allowed me to assail my enemies with SWARMS OF ANGRY BEES. I’m not even sure how effective that plasmid is, but it now has a permanent slot on my roster regardless.

I found it usefull on Medium, not sure how it will fair in hard. It does some damage, distracts the splicer, is fairly cheap on eve and has the bonus that the bees track, which helps deal with a certain splicer type.

I kept it in my arsenal soley for the cries of “OH GOD, NOT ON MY FACE, NOT ON MY FACE!” and “NO! I’M ALLERGIC!” So great. Every game should let me torment my foes with angry hornets.

Is anyone else getting an AVG virus alert on Bioshock.exe? From a couple other reports it looks like it might be a false positive (of which I’ve been getting way too many from AVG), but my paranoia is going to have me running scans the rest of the evening…

I think I read somewhere that the heuristic analysis part of the AVG Resident Shield views the SecureRom DRM with suspicion.

Yes, AVG would not let me play Bioshock after the 8/29 update.

Yeah, do not click that link unless you’ve beaten the game. On page 2, one of their native forum trolls spoils the entire plot for a laugh. Aside from that asshole, though, apparently Broncos fans are all ABOUT the Bioshock, which I’d call a good sign by any standards.
