Searched but didn’t see anything about this here. Haven’t had a chance to watch this yet myself (a quick search tells me it became available to rent on Amazon a couple of days ago) but it looks interesting. Hugo Weaving, Stephen Rea, Jim Broadbent, James Frecheville.
Not many films use the Irish famine as a backdrop so that adds some interest for me personally, plus it’s done in the style of the classic revenge western (from what I’ve read) and who doesn’t love a good revenge tale?
