Is Mr Bloody the animal that you fight in the pool of blood in the temple in chapter two? He was the next toughest after Mr White for me. Not sure who Mr Sandy is though, maybe haven’t for that far yet.
Yes. Mr Sandy is directly after Mr Bloody if you go downwards from what I remember, so you may just have cruised through him :)
Why-not-both.gif? The good news is pressing heavy attack when you have at least one Focus point not only heals you but it also unleashes a heavy attack. Spending 3 focus points not only deals more heavy damage but it also heals you more! The bad news is the healing is barely noticeable so it’s better off to spend one spark point just to unlock the rest of its tech tree. It’s just not worth it spending more.
Did you mean the Jade Emperor? Fuck that guy. He’s the Trump administration equivalent for Celestial matters. It’s lore accurate that the gods in this game are both incompetent and corrupt.
But seriously you’re not the only who’s struggling against him. He’s the first boss to check your understanding of the game’s combat skills:
Transforming into Guangzhi aka wolf yaoguai that deals fire damage is your friend. Make sure you really beat Guangzhi first before you deal with that 
. Enter his bamboo arena, sprint towards him, immobilize him for free attacks, then transform and char him, rinse and repeat.
Here are the things that the game never explicitly mentioned. A combo begins with the first light attack. The implication is that when you have at least one Focus point, pressing a heavy attack right after your first light attack or at any subsequent light attacks before the combo ends with a overhead heavy smash will execute Perfect Counterflow (smash stance), Perfect Tactical Retreat (Thrust stance), etc. that can punish back any bosses by disrupting their attacks or even staggering them.
Regardless of which stance you’re going for, always make sure to chain a few light attacks to gain your first focus point. If you’re not confident to pull off any of the Perfect moves, you can also press jumping + focus heavy attack to close distance and disrupt that snake. Alternatively, if you’re feeling defensive and going with the pillar stance, with at least one focus point you can press heavy attack right before the moment the Snake starts his attack combo, your MC will avoid snake’s attacks and come smacking down with the staff.
So chaining light attacks not only give you combat essential focus points, they also reduce your magic skills cool down. Rinse and repeat whatever I mentioned above will net you about 3-4 times of Immobilization and another round of Transformation, which is enough to beat whiteclad noble handily.
Also, maximum level of your MC is 342 (the age of Wukong before reaching immortality) and there are only 6 chapters in this game, if you think your level is high at this point, it is definitely not. Go level up some more, explore and grind to increase your base stats and skills, character building is absolutely free in this game so put points into whatever that maximizes your playstyle’s strength. This is getting a bit repetitive. I’m somewhere in Chapter 4. Don’t know where but it doesn’t matter because I don’t know why I’m doing what I’m doing, or what else is going on. Very pretty though. Albeit very pretty glade/steps/glade/cave/gladegladeglade.
Have you found Yellow Loong? I haven’t beaten him yet. I’ll return once my level is higher. His fight has less BS than Malenia Blade of Miquella but way more fun though.
Also, try and find the secret location of the chapter–purple cloud domain or something. But you have to free the Pig God from the mind control first.

From webbed hollow shrine, exit the tunnel and find a way to drop down to cross a bridge, then you should find another bridge filled with spider cocoons to cross. Travel East to find the best boss in the game thus far.
