Hot. Damn. Impressive. Will it be able to hold its own while Next Gen is knocking on our door? Time will tell.
That looks very very good for a current gen game. Seems very action packed and intense.
Will the game actually require you to press a button to pull the trigger on your gun, or will it just fire non-stop automatically all the time?
Who cares? That looks fucking crazy…
Wow. It’s like the EA in the beginning is actually shorthand for “Everything’s Awesome!” I mean, spraying a building with an Uzi should cause it to collapse at least sometimes. More!
I find it hard to beleive that is in-game on current gen consoles.
Maybe PC video? Or maybe when the video is that small, you can’t see the low res textures and such.
The textures would have to be gourad shaded to make up for the dust and lighting and physics and holy shit that was sweet.
Really stupid name, though.
Xbox? Maybe, pretty much doubt it too. PS2? No way in hell.
Criterion Games first developed this game for PS2 exclusively until they were bought by EA. Now its PS2 and Xbox.
I wish it would load for me. Can someone fill me in on what this game is about and why it’s supposed to be awesome?
So far, it seems its biggest selling point is that the designers have rigged buildings to blow up really nicely, and to do so at the slightest provocation.
it looks like a next gen game graphically, the environments look almost 100% destroy-able. Looks like fun all around.

Oh, also bullets are filled with smoke and/or home in on things that are caked with dust.
An excellent commentary for this video!
Ok, I’ve watched it now. Yeah, new consoles are definitely coming out prematurely.
Gameplay wise, I dunno. We’ll see.
I don’t know how I’d target anything with all the dust and shit blowing up in front of me from shooting it with a 9mm weapon. I want to see what an AK-47 does. Probably will tear holes in the fabric of time and space.
I imagine that the buildings were going to explode anyhow, cutscene-like. I can’t believe that the bullets caused those explosions, not even in a game that is clearly HARDCORE.
Are you kidding? The gameplay could be twenty hours of nothing other than what they show in that video, and I’d play it.
Hopefully the second one.
