I would love to do this with you guys but my current schedule would make it impossible to co-op. Sounds like great fun. I have been watching some guys on Playframe (youtube channel) doing this. It is not as easy to do as DS3 co-op. Kind of weird if you ask me, but it is doable and should be fun.

My wife and I got a PS4, but not specifically to play Bloodborne. She’s currently playing RDR2 on it in her room in our limited spare time, so not much chance of sneaking any Bloodborne sessions in. Thanks for the invite, but I’m not sure I could put in enough time to do it justice. Having our Sept/Oct work contracts cancelled due to covid has made us quite a lot busier, ironically enough.

Maybe when the PS5 comes along I can get one for my “office”, and then play this along with Demon Souls.

I’m just taking the $100 from Gamestop. They’re going for more on eBay, but mine has had some annoying intermittent issues with its wifi and controller connections, so I don’t want a real person to buy it from me and feel like they got ripped off.

Servers are down! Offline play only for now. I don’t remember the janky frame rate bothering me last time I played but it kind of is now. Also for a game that’s so dependent on fast action it’s too easy to miss attacks due to faulty tracking.

Google news feed is telling me that this was accidentally free on PS+ members. Maybe that’s why servers are down, because a lot of people suddenly got it for free?

I checked the website, and it’s $20, so it’s not free anymore. I own the disc version already, but it would have been nice to get the digital version for free. Or if it was like most PS+, to make it part of my PS+ rental library.

I did but the Bloodborne disc into the PS4 yesterday, but it’s not recognized as being in there. Just like it’s impossible to find the eject button on a vertical PS4, I also find it impossible to know which way to put in discs. I’m guessing I put it in upside down (if the PS4 was horizontal).

I couldn’t do it with my son in the living room playing around. If he sees me do it, he’ll try to mess with that stuff while I’m at work. I was waiting for him to be put to bed. But I couldn’t stay up that late, so I fell asleep.

I’ll try to stay up late tonight and do it. Usually his mom puts him to sleep around midnight or 12:30, if I can get up after that and go to the living room, I can flip that disc around.

(I could have done it this morning when I was getting ready for work, but I was doing my morning routine and forgot).
