What I can tell you is that this expansion is fantastic. After being lukewarm about Tribunal, I didn’t have high hopes for Bloodmoon – but this is an expansion the way they should be done. Aside from the completely different setting (wintery wilderness) and new items, they also added a good dose of humor.

Any of you that enjoyed Morrowind will have to pick this up.

I can’t go into too much detail about the beta; it seems they only partially lifted the NDA, so forgive me for the gushing-preview style.

I love Morriwind. It’s still installed although I’m currently not finding enough time to play it. I enjoyed Tribunal. My only complaint was that it was too short. I thought the plotting it Tribunal was quite nice. Sounds like Bloodmoon is going to be a must-buy for me.

Ah, but is it worth actually restarting Morrowind so I can have a high enough level character to enjoy Bloodmoon?

As to the level, it depends on the character type you pick. Certain Race/Class combinations can kick ass at low levels.

any new gameplay or is it just new gfx/sound/fex ex quests?

You help build a city in Bloodmoon. You can shape it, to some extent. That’s new.
