Corinth is a great little game; my favourite roll & write.

I’m interested to finally see villagers. It took will power not to back.

Ditto

…finally a chance to combine the roll and move thrill of talisman with the world’s greatest detective?

I don’t understand it either. There’s a Kingdom
Hearts one coming out too. I bet I sell 1.

None of the Unlock games I’ve played were roll and move… And I’ve played the Oz one in that box! Does Sherlock’s one have a dice element??

Edit oops. I genuinely had no idea you were on about Batman! Not sure how i.missed that!!

I feel like the Batman one has some chance of being good, or at least at the level of your top tier Talisman (e. g. Relic). Which isn’t saying much, but I could see it working, kinda. Kingdom Hearts? ehhhh.

Talisman is definitely one of the easiest geek boardgames to do the infinite licensing stream of something like Monopoly with, though. And it’s the company that does that with Monopoly, sooooo…

True, but they also do make good new designs as well. Like Hogwarts Battle, not something I would have expected from a company formerly known as USAopoly

Have you played Hogwarts Battle? The component quality is the kind of thing I’d expect from someone who only made Monopoly games :)

Yes, my wife and I enjoy it greatly, and even got and played through the expansion.

Component quality? It’s a deck builder with some markers and dice.

Is it okay to discuss actual puzzles here within the boardgaming thread? I ask because of all things, we have no actual puzzle threads.

Not without spoiler tags please. I still have quite a few unopened adventures on my to be played pile.

Ordered the new Unlock (pre-order) plus the Space Cowboys 3-pack (to play Sat night while the kids are at movie night!) Looking forward to whatever ‘Unlock Adventures’ ends up being, if it’s different than the earlier games.

I think, due to this being a gaming forum that puzzle is such a wide definition that I need to post a slight spoiler. :)

This is what I’m talking about:

Do we have a puzzle thread, or am I alone in the universe and need to talk to myself more. (Which is quite possible.)

God damn you now I know that puzzle has lemurs in it!

And now I know what it looks like, fully assembled! :D

I think puzzles are fair game. I’m a fan of 3D puzzles, which I buy for my kids so I can help them build them. We’ve got a couple of Eiffel Towers, a Russian cathedral, and Daigon Alley.

BOARDGAMES. Not puzzles like my 80 year old grandmother plays with.

That’s fair. I can always create a new thread, there might be more grandmas! That’s why I asked.

I like to puzzle, puzzle.
