I was really liking it until the end when I began to realize that the filmmaker appeared to be making a pro-vigilante point movie, rather than just a stylistic killfest.
I thought this was a thread about how “Boondock Saints” were “going rent” or making themselves into a Gay musical where everyone is sad they are poor because they don’t have jobs and everyone gets aids.
It sure did seem to lean that way, but I think that’d be a tad too goofy.
Though, it would be kinda’ funny, socialogically-wise, that he might add a girl to the Boy’s Club only to end up being a cheat.
Troy Duffy said that Julie Benz is the female lead and protégé of FBI Special Agent Paul Smecker (Willem Dafoe’s character from the first film), named Eunice.
There’s certainly room there for an identity change.

I’ve yet to see Overnight. Been meaning to … But I’d read up on some of that horror. Pretty bad seeing how someone can toss such an incredible, longshot opportunity.
