Yes, yes it is.
One thing I have not explored a lot in this game is respec’ing. There’s a lot of variability there. Also, I tend to stick with one class mod and one relic, rather than dynamically swapping them–I’m sure I’m losing out some by not doing that. My problem there is inventory space, though. Twenty-seven slots goes FAST when I feel it necessary to carry around not only one of every type of weapon, so ammo is not an issue and I have long/medium/short ranges covered, but also one of every elemental type, and usually that gets duplicated across weapon types too. Plus, all the grenades, and any swappable shields.
I probably should slim down, but my bank slots are full too, as is the stash. I think I just need to bite the bullet and sell a lot of the purples/pink purples I have cluttering up my storage, but which I don’t actually use.
Oh, and are they ever going to give us something else to use Eridium on? I have tons of the stuff, but nothing to buy with it. Build a pony out of it?

After a bit of fooling around, I think it’s mostly Resurgence that’s been keeping me alive. I was working on the quest to kill 100 bandits and there are optional goals of killing them with fire, shock, etc, so I was trying hard to do that and not use melee, and I had a lot more trouble staying alive.

Eridium aside, what is the end game use for cash? I have dropped 6 or 7 figures into the slots and have literally not gotten 1 item that I would use on the character that obtained it.

I really hope to get eridium but even that has started to drop in numbers now.
Heh, I use cash for resurrections. I mean, sometimes on bosses I blow nearly 100k on dying.

Sure but that’s a percentage cost. If you have no money you still get rezzed.
They need a good cash money sink.
True. There’s no crafting, the slots are pretty lame, and once you’ve tipped Moxie enough to get her best gun, I’m guessing there’s nothing/not much after that? Rarely do I find good buys on the daily specials in the vending machines, either.

Randy Pitchford has already said they have a plan for all that eridium and all the other material you obtain.
I suspect it will be crafting… i guess the plan is to make BL2 a mini MMO
They should troll the current players and make the game F2P once the last DLC comes out.

I’m generally not a huge fan of crafting but I think it’d help give the game some legs. Unfortunately, their loot system doesn’t lead to the same level of frantic, non-stop farming that games like D2 promote with armor sets, uniques and the like. Actually, I’m not sure that’s a bad thing. But if Gearbox were thinking of ways to fix it, I might enjoy slapping together my own firearms and augmenting them with eridium (or something).
Also, thanks for the shift codes, guys.
I’m going to start playing this tonight or tomorrow with some old friends. What class does everyone recommend for being the most fun?
