Can Lib Dem, Labor, and Green form a majority ruling coalition?

With such scattered support and first-past-the-post voting for seats, who knows! I suppose it would depend on how centralized each party’s support is.
Remainers have finally realised Corbyn is a Brexiter and all he’s done is lie his teeth off. Labour’s position on backing a second ref has switched half a dozen times since the weekend. Everyone knows it’s just bullshit now and have realised the LDs are the only option no matter their past or moribund leadership, they are the only option with a clear position on Brexit.
The only reason any Labour/working class would vote for hard right Thatcherite BXP is they are racist as fuck and Labour need to forget chasing their vote. Those racist vermin will never put Abbott, Lammy, Shah, Butler, Lewis etc into power when Farage and his thugs are running on a Cleanse The Darkies platform

“Interchangeable arse and elbow!”
We all look the same according to the Brexiters.
Yup, Femi, a 20something male, looks just like Abbott, a 65 year old female if you are white supremacist.

I love that the entire Brexit party manifesto is: Leave with no deal.
This is what happens when you hold a referendum and don’t implement the result.
and a reminder that the Brexit Party don’t limit their hate and bigotry to racism
This is what happens when you refuse to appease a bunch of nasty, racist, homophobic far right c**ts, they elect those who represent what they stand for.
and BXP don’t limit their hate to racism and homophobia, as they are openly misogynist too.
Here are the incels and MRAs of reddit celebrating the election of one of their own as another BXP MEP
“concerns about referendum” = elect racists, homophobes and MRAs.
This is the true face of Brexit.
Weird Question, but is Brexit bad for the rest of the EU? The UK has always seemed like the break paddle of the EU integration project as a whole.
I think it is marginally bad, but not bad bad. It won’t cost any EU country 6% of GDP, which seems to be the rosiest serious view of what Brexit will cost the UK.
It’s mostly bad when viewed as a set back to the European integration project. But it’s not fatal, and it hasn’t produced any other exit-curious nations as feared.
Well, Ireland maybe. On a no-deal exit.
Back in 2003, I did a year in at Maastricht University called European Studies. A three year bachelor program that was I realized wasn’t for me. Anyway, during my time, it was really emphasised that the EU was all about integration, while the UK was always putting the breaks on that integration whenever possible and creating a two tier European System, or a multi speed system. Wouldnt Brexit alleviate the EU of the Anchor that is the UK.
Yes. The ‘bad’ part of Brexit WRT integration was the theory that Brexit would trigger similar moves by other countries. That doesn’t seem to have happened. And it’s vastly harder for any other country anyway because of the currency problem.
Would an Norway style system fix most of the Financial losses that are due to hit the UK?
In the abstract, yes, but at the moment (or rather pre-2016) I don’t the UK is the biggest obstacle to integration. For instance, the main integration project at the moment is the Banking Union, and in particular EDIS, and Germany is easily the biggest obstacle there, supported by a group of northern member states. The UK doesn’t really care about it because it’s basically a Eurozone project. I’d also note that the Danes are just as recalcitrant about joining the Euro as the UK and will be even after the UK leaves.
That seems to be the theory, but a Brexit to achieve Norway status is on some level kind of crazy. It’s like being in the EU but not having any say in the EU. The UK would be far better off staying in. And it won’t satisfy the anti-EU faction anyway.
Edit: This is a good Norway explainer.
It also wouldn’t in itself solve the Irish border problem, though it would in principle make it easier to solve.
Yes, that’s right. They’d need the Customs Union added to the deal for that.
Thanks everyone. I appreciate the information.
