That is exactly what I was thinking about. Every single time Brexiters use dog whistle language, they move one step closer to murder.

This is why it pains me to see Draxen still supporting Brexit as the entire idea is more anti-white or anti-immigrant now than it is about sovereignty. The list that @M_Wolf posted accidentally showed his innate hatred of non-Brits and the real reason he wants Brexit. ie. “immigrants are the reason for all are woes!” The same crap Trump spouts and the same crap Hitler spouted.

Apparently the UK government have told the EU they intend to crash out with no deal and then negotiate afterwards?

Its the Head of Vecna solution. Fucking muppets.

Finally, I get to update my list!

Positive outcomes of the Brexit process

  1. Learned about the Head of Vecna

Labour say that in the event of a successful VONC they will only support a caretaker Prime Minister if it’s Corbyn.

A caretaker government set up to block a no-deal Brexit would have to be led by the Labour party under Jeremy Corbyn, shadow chancellor John McDonnell has declared.

Labour are most probably remain now. The “traditional working class” voters turned out to be a bunch of racists and have fucked off and joined the fash and all that’s left are remainers.

I still use “probably” though, because LotO (Leader of Opposition Office - Labour’s exec) have lied their teeth off for 3 years now and I don’t trust those fuckers one inch.

Lib Dems refuse to support Corbyn as caretaker Prime Minister

“I can’t conceive of any circumstances under which we would put Jeremy Corbyn into No. 10,” said one senior Lib Dem MP. “He’s not only dangerous for our national security but for our economic security too.”

I think that’s it then. I can’t see any other method of stopping Boris now. Even if a VONC occurs then there will be no caretaker PM and a GE shortly after no deal.

Well, nobody can accuse British politicians of not knowing what they don’t want.

Johnson is too racist to join the British police, (but not Team Draxen) .

10 days of food before shelves start to empty.

and this dumb **** sums up how Brexiters expect things to work post-Brexit.

“believe in Britain”. Absolute idiot. I hope she fucking starves.

Sometimes you need to hit the ground before folks realize they’re falling.

I knew all this intermittent fasting would do me a world of good one day.

i can hack 72 hrs no food no dramas.

Almost want to be around when shit hits the fan if there is no food available here.

I still don’t understand that part of Brexit. It will just take so long to process the incoming food shipments from trucks and stuff it will cause massive jams and imports will be weeks behind? Is that the theory for why there will be food and medicine shortages and such?

And can’t they just adjust to that now by building checkpoints and such in the next three months before the deadline?

The theory is that the UK can’t import food from the EU without a trade agreement. If they use WTO rules, there is duty due on all imports, so all the trucks have to be stopped and duties assessed etc, and there is zero existing infrastructure to manage that process on that scale. There hasn’t been for decades.

Edit: I’m not even clear on the trucks and drivers. Are the drivers legally able to drive their trucks into the UK, or must everything be transferred to local trucks with legal drivers?

So, basically, the fundamental stuff you really need to figure out before crashing out of the EU.

Pretty sure this has been dealt with, at least for the immediate cliff edge.

I assume we’re just going to ignore the rules and pretend we’re still in the EU as far as imports go.

That looks like UK guidance for UK drivers in the EU. I assume this is reciprocal somehow, but I don’t see that.

The problem with all the Brexit prep is its lots of websites telling you what you must do and what permits/docs you must get then you find the permit department is 2 guys 1 printer and a queue of about 4,000,000 permits to manage.

It would take a year for the government to get the specifications and work orders to tender. The “smart borders” are basically a list of bullet points generated from science fiction articles on AIs and digital infrastructure.

It’s not reciprocal as such, but it was part of the contingency measures adopted by the EU to cope with a no deal exit.

Sure. I’m just talking about the legal side. There was that story just the other day that only a third of the needed customs registrations had been obtained.
