If some people in Parliament can legitimately reject May’s deal as the wrong sort of Brexit and not be thwarting the will of the people, other people in Parliament can reject Johnson’s no deal as the wrong sort of Brexit and not be thwarting the will of the people. It can’t be the case that the one example is supporting the will of the people while the other is thwarting it, except by fairly egregious and obvious special pleading.
