I’m envisioning something more nebulous than just him
flat out refusing to comply.
Resigning, for instance, without recommending a successor. What happens then? Or other schemes. There must be a bunch of odd things they can try. I never even thought of your example. That would indeed be a mess.

While we’re playign silly loopholes, I have a ridiculous one that I think works. He resigns and nominates a successor. That successor can immediately then resign. Given the process of changing PM takes a couple of hours and they have a 100 or so ERG ultras they can keep this up for a while, and they could claim they wouldn’t be in breach of the law thanks to the human rights act which takes precedence over Benn-Burt in case of a conflict.

I have no clue what their strategy is. If they move from the “Brexit will happen on 31st Oct” message then surely it will damage them severely in the polls.
Here’s the latest statement from last night:
That’s hilarious.
You are Dominic Cummings, and I claim my £500!
We truly live in the dumbest timeline:
“Let’s move the custom check a little away from the border. See? No customs check at the border. Happy now?”
As usual, the UK pretends that they are the only party of any consequence in this matter.
Following hot on the heels of the “solve the border problem by setting the line thickness to 172” buffer zone plan
Cue: THE ELIT TUK OUR SOVREENTY from the Brexiters
As I said - the UK completely ignores that there are two sides to the border - and that just because the UK is going to ignore (or pretend to ignore) that there is a border, doesn’t mean that Ireland/EU can ignore that border.
It’s hard to say what is less flattering for the government - that this may be a serious proposal (in which case they are unutterably stupid) or that it isn’t (in which case they are just pure evil).

Why is Jeremy Corbyn the head of his party?
In pretty sure that border image is just a picture of a sandstorm from Dune.
The links between Johnsons affair and American far right and US Nazis are closer than just Breitbart
and just when you thought the Tories couldnt get any worse.
One of the few Tories I would have crossed the road to piss on if he was on fire. I might have even borrowed a bucket of water.
Running for mayor of London as an independent. That will be interesting.
Ah, so it’s going to be yet ANOTHER extension…
And Tory win, and back to square one…
Not really. If the Tories get a majority, they’ll be able to push through no deal.
Is there a Tory majority for no deal? I didn’t think so.
There’s no Tory majority at all. But if the Tories were to win a general election, it’s pretty much axiomatic that they’d pass no deal, because a promise to do that is what would have have got them the majority.
Edit: Or, I suppose, if you’re feeling more generous they might push through May’s deal. Either way, it’s not square 1.
