No details of what is in it yet, but a real coup for BoJo is this is true. Of course, he still needs to get it through parliament which still seems like it is very unlikely to me, but who knows? There may be a “only Nixon could go to China” effect, which will allow him to breeze it past the Brexit hardliners in his own party.
Hard to imagine a PD less ambitious than the one that was previously agreed.
Hard to see how he’ll get this through without DUP support.
Given that even DUP support would have left him a little short of the required votes (i.e., he’d have to get opposition “Leavers” to cross the aisle), I doubt he’ll be able to get this through. A vote on Saturday also won’t give MPs a lot of time to study the new deal (which may be on purpose, though - but yet another reason even otherwise positive MPs might hesitate to vote for). Hold on to your hats…

Reports that the vote on Sat will be between deal & no deal - thereby fulfilling the Benn act. Not sure of the validity but that seems to be the plan. If so… awesome!
That motion could be amended to change it before the vote, after the government tables it, couldn’t it?

Maybe by some, but the electoral incentives of the Brexit Party and the ERG are very, very different. I can’t see more than a handful of Tories voting against it.
