Workington who have been Labour since 1918 are now Tory.

Lavery wins because of BXP.

The BXP might well have saved the Labour an even bigger loss. I saw some punters mention this would happen.

Google Lavery + Miners Funds to find out why its a Pyrrhic victory. He’s super dodgy.

CPA is the Christian Peoples Alliance which i believe is an American anti-abortion party.

Darlington is Tory. Here is the wiki page for him and how much they must have anticipated a win.

The itv coverage is really good. Smartest political conversation I’ve seen on tv in years.

Jon “Corbyn is a security risk” Ashworth wins and lines himself up for purging.

Jess will do it to hopefully

Crazy swing in Putney. 7 per cent against the national swing.

An Alliance Party was needed in England. Would have only happened with a centrist Labour and less shitty LDs though.

Trying to align as a firmly remain party turned out to be a mistake, who’da thunk.

What else could they do? Their members and active supporters are Remainers. None of them are going to go out and knock on doors and deliver leaflets to help assist Johnson and Farage achieve Brexit. They aren’t going to ally with Tommy Robinsons mob. They aren’t going to help shut down Nissan and sell the NHS to the Americans.

Uhoh, someone asked Ken about the election.

The former Labour MP and Mayor of London, said his friend and ally Jeremy Corbyn had paid the price for several aspects of his campaign, including not taking more action against anti-semitism.

Um, don’t you mean not taking action quickly enough against you Ken?

Chuka is gone.

Raab holds.

Yay Zac is back out and Sarah is back in. He’s an absolute weasel of a man.

and he’s gone.

Jo Swinson gets the boot. It’s a bloodbath.

He’s not leaving immediately. Gonna ease himself out slowly.

He’s neutral on leaving Labour too.

The SNP gains and Unionist wipe out means we can now strive towards a Celtic Union. A united Ireland and Scotland.

It’s crazy to think all the bloodshed and violence during the Troubles, and Britain is going to go “yea, whatevs.” and (probably) just let NI go away.

I guess, really, Brexit is about (re)gaining an English identity.

You can see why we need a bit of cheering up.

Johnson very likely has the votes to pass his withdrawal agreement, thus resolving the Northern Ireland problem and avoiding no-deal. And all along this has been the main obstacle to fulfilling Brexit.

After the withdrawal agreement passes, he will want to make a trade agreement with the EU. But he has has up to five years to get it done with his new majority, and honestly I don’t see why they would rebel or force another election before it’s complete. Prediction: it will benefit the rich in the UK and the general public in the EU, at the expense of the general public in the UK. That’s win-win as far as Tories are concerned.

“Permanent transition” is now the best case scenario for a Remainer, but Johnson is not a Remainer.
