Well, KevinC’s post was fairly conspiratorial, as he himself acknowledged. I don’t blame Kevin for having that thought. These are very strange times, and “Herd Immunity!” was the height of folly.
But is it possible that we’re overreacting to the use of “if” as a rhetorical device?
EDIT: Actually, thinking back over the whole Gman fiasco, perhaps overreacting is a virtue. (There is definitely a Covid-19 joke / reference to be made here, but I am too discombobulated right now to make it.)

I have no confidence Boris loves nor respects the NHS like he claims, and he’s already entertained American companies coming in to supplement NHS shortfalls. You literally can’t trust tories nor brexiters as far as you can throw them. They’ve proven consistently dishonest and worked against the countries best interests. There is no excuse, except for copious brain damage, for the herd immunity thing.

So when he said “I hope to see her” what he actually meant was “i wont be having any contact with my 77 year old mother as it would present a high risk to her”
