The Bruce Dickinson. Brexit supporter.

(warning may induce spit takes and/or facepalms)

Translation: I voted for Brexit when it was going to hurt OTHER people. Now that it is going to hurt ME, that’s a different thing entirely!

Something leopards something faces.

LOL “And work permits and all the rest of the rubbish”

That’s explicitly what you fucking voted for you absolute tool.

No, he voted for cake, and to eat it too!

And now we have no flour or eggs.

BBC radio 4 “farming today” this morning: British farmers (mainly Brexit voting) are suffering from lack of European fruit pickers and HGV drivers to get produce to supermarkets.

They feel the government can do more.

Bed, lying in it.

Or perhaps something about bracing winds of global competition. Dunno.

Not to mention the trade deal with Australia basically undercuts UK farmers.

Maybe the UK should enter into some kind of union with the european countries, that will allow them to form some kind of economic cooperative, bypassing the need for things like work permits, etc.

Brentrance.

“Waiter, may I have another serving of schadenfreude please?”

I’m trying to decide if “Brentrance” would attend Oxford or if he’d be more of a Cambridge sort.

He’s French, surely? Say it through your nose: Brontronce.

Ah, yes. I think you’re right. So the Sorbonne, then.

Brexit really is a major clusterf*
I’ve not seen a single person talking about how great things are in Britain now that they’re divorced from Europe. Tories want to re-write the rules they agreed to and every single business that preys on immigrants voted for Brexit, and now they have to pay fair wages.

…and of course Britain wants to renegotiate Brexit already because they’re led by an idiot.

And who could have seen Brexit was a dumpster fire in the making you ask? Literally everyone.

Same as 2016 in the US with Trump. Who could have seen he was an authoritarian pathologically narcissistic imbecile? Again, literally everyone.

For some, it’s a feature, not a bug.

HOW THE FUCK DID YOU THINK YOU WOULDN’T LOSE FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT??? It was basically the main argument for Brexit, and there was no way it would have been retained.

but it’s a ‘very good deal’, ‘great deal’, an ‘oven ready deal’.

It’s almost like he didn’t read it before he signed it.

He thought only the dirty foreigners would lose THEIR freedoms, not HIM!

I really think this is exactly it. It was all about putting the furners in their place and surely it wouldn’t apply to good British citizens like them.
