I’ve actually not managed to play past the 1st “half” of the game so far. After starting an initial game, there were so many reports of bugs / imbalanced parts later in the game and so many patches that it always felt as if the game was still a work in progress and I should wait just that little bit longer before starting a new game. Not saying this was actually the case, but this was my impression of it at the time.

And well, other games happened etc and that new run is still waiting to be started. Maybe after the new edition becomes available but then, I suppose, the same thing might happen. On one hand, I feel it is great the devs provide so much post release support but on the other hand it feels as if the game is never quite finished and ready to be played.

I also never got very far before moving on. It’s been patiently waiting for me to return, so I guess it can wait a bit longer.

I think the new release date is a bad one, but maybe that’s just me. It’s too close to Fallout 4, so at least in my case I’m not going to be jumping into it until much later. I was hoping mid Sept at the latest.

Same here. Wasn’t the original target date ‘late summer’? I know they’re from California but surely summers can’t be that long over there, right?

Sure, but it’s also a 50+ hour RPG. I don’t know how fast it takes you to beat a game, but realistically for me I’d be lucky to finish in two or three weeks. Which doesn’t leave much time to decompress and get ready for another similar experience. And that assumes nothing else I’m interested in comes out in that period.

Thoughts on the ‘Directors Cut’ version? It sounds like quite an update (with the new graphics and voice work etc). I didn’t get this yet and this new version has shown up on GoG…do i have time though? :)

I’ve only tried it fast to check out the new camera since I’ve read a lot of complaints about it and unfortunately it seems like the complaints are justified.
