Is there a way to buy an album that does not involve Itunes or allofmp3 (illegal)?
Depends on what album.
My favored spot is emusic.com, but their selection can be hit-or-miss. Not likely to have everything you’re interested in, there’s holes in available discographies, etc., but definitely worth a shot.
eMusic keeps improving. They used to not be able to sell some artists in their
home country, but old albums are unlocked and new ones appear all the time.
They’ll of course never be able to offer a complete discography of excessively
productive artists like The Residents ;)
I usually just go to the store.
