It seems there’s another very badly worded piece of legislation being put forward. This time it’s in California. In an attempt to control copyright violations, software that can enable copyright legislations need to have appropriate safguards. Considering that I can email copyright material, just how is this legislation going to function? Pretty much any piece of communications software can enable copyright violation.
Damn straight! I’m in favor of such software on any .gov-related machine, hands down.
